I don't think they let people stick around. They were strict about not using our phones until we got into elevator too as I'm sure you also experienced. I consulted my brother who is an actor and he said my pictures were good. The site said it improves your chances if you do all of that. They sent out emails to people who got selected on Friday. I didn't get one, oh well. I had hopes that I'd get tickets in a second wave or whatever. I kept persisting; I found a promo code thanks to a friend and edited it into my request on Saturday. Sunday afternoon....I'm in Chicago getting ready to head home to NYC and I get the email saying I'm confirmed to go. I completely lost it, total breakdown lmao, I cried for like 10 minutes. My mom was so hype lmaooo y’all have no idea. My aunt and uncle bugged out too, everyone was so happy for me. My flight landed at LaGuardia at like 9:15pm. I sprinted off the plane and to an Uber. My Uber driver legit said "you're crazy" since I met him at a spot that's totally not a real pickup spot. I needed to get home to go to bed. I got home at 11pm on Sunday night, went to bed and woke up at 4am to head downtown. I got to the studio at 6:15, one of the first people there. While we were waiting to get in, I met a bunch of people from twitter that I've never met in person before. It was dope. Filming began around 9 I think. They took our phones at the start of the day so I had no access to the outside world. I didn't know what time it was throughout the day. It was liberating honestly and I'm really happy they took them, it helped keep me in the moment. I was so locked into what I was watching. All of the filming was happening right in front of me. They moved us around a bunch so I didn't always have the best view but towards the end I was front row and center. We were in elevated bleachers, so things were happening below us, to try to give you a sense of it. At times though Gaga and Bradley were basically just right in front of me. I could hear Bradley giving directions to people. I could hear conversations sometimes. I could her Gaga say random stuff at times. Gaga didn't come out until maybe 2 hours into the day. She just came out casually. I didn't think it was her at first lol. I was so in shock to finally see her. Honestly felt transcended into another plane of existence, I don't know how to describe it. I've never seen her in the flesh before. For like 10 minutes I didn't take my eyes off of her. I was crying with my hands over my face. So many goosebumps and like my whole body felt euphoric. Some woman behind me was trying to talk to me and I continually ignored her. I was on the edge of my seat for most of the day, my friend thought I'd fall off lmao. I was incredibly emotional, I'm tearing up writing this. Watching Gaga throughout the day was unbelievable. Watching Bradley Cooper direct all day was incredible. How much I love him gets lost in this a little bit since obviously the day was really about Gaga for me. He is arguably my favorite actor though. I am so blessed that I got to observe Gaga all day. When they were filming it was dope, but all the moments in between were just as amazing (there is a lot of down time on sets). Watching her interact with Bradley, other actors, her dancers, her entourage. She was so playful, lot of joking around. I saw her father and sister on set at one point. It feels like I spent the whole day with her in an intimate setting. They moved us around a bunch of times in the crowd but towards the end I had my best seat of the day, front row and basically center. I was in the second row but then these two women in the front row left with like an hour left in the day and I jumped right in. Perfect timing. At the end, Bradley thanked all of us and walked out. Gaga then thanked us as well and started to walk towards the exit backstage. She was in conversations with people as she walked towards the exit. I’d say it was like 15 seconds from her thanking all of us, to her exiting, walking towards me the entire time since the exit she was luckily right below me. It seemed odd to me but like no one was really crowding around to try to get her attention it seemed. Just me and this one woman really. (don't ask me about specifics from what they filmed tomorrow, I'm not sharing that, it's supposed to be private). And the critics say that her love for her monsters is a marketing gimmick *eye roll*. The love that she has for her monsters is pure and genuine. I jokingly say that if all of us could fit into a photograph, gaga would so totally be the person who would whip out her wallet and show our picture to everyone she could find haha. I didn't tell anyone I was going to this so towards the end of the day I was getting really worried that my parents were trying to contact me, so I wanted to get back to my phone.
