It covers 22 Million out of 320 Million. And the ACA is not a perfect bill, I was watching Kirsten Gillibrand on The View (Democrat Senator) and she even agreed the costs are way too high for individuals and small businesses. The best thing to do is to repeal the ACA and replace it with Single Payer Health Insurance like the UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, Israel, ect. What's been truly interesting about all this is that people here in the U.S. tend to treat political parties like sports teams, and as long as the politician is on their "team," people will overlook what they do. However, Trump has even managed to upset many Republicans, but unfortunately, the majority of them still seem to support them, putting party loyalty over country. I was reading an article comparing his food preferences to Obama's, and Trump basically lives on junk food. They said his three favorite restaurants are KFC, Domino's, and McDonald's. Like Batwings said above, lots of Americans see it more like a sports team than anything that can truly affect them at the local level because politics only happens 'up there' and 'far away'. There also might be a good amount of apathy after a slew of events in the late 20th century, such as the Watergate Scandal, the Iran hostage crisis, the Iran-Contra affair, the Lewinsky Scandal, and so many other silly things that it's hard to even care.
