I disliked the audio (didn't admit to anyone for a month) but I kinda liked the video especially that flashy scene cuts in the video.

Every critic blasted the video for the same exact thing though:sweat:

Should've been performed at the Superbowl and at Coachella. :neyde: Would've been a platinum hit in the US by now.

I know, I'm pressed she didn't perform it at Coachella but took the time to do Teeth, like :neyde:

I think it deserves a Best Female Video/ Best Pop Video VMA. I dk why fans are only calling the John Wayne video the only good one when this one exists. I actually do like the Million Reasons video but I can understand why some of y'all don't like it.

But Perfect Illusion is ecstatic, dope and encapsulates raw energy in a way no other artist could. I think straight guys were praising her looks in this one. I also like the Mark Ronson/Kevin Parker/Bloodpop cameo.

Just a reminder that it has 95 million views on YouTube will become the next Gaga video to be certified.

It's boring and dull. Yeah it has some nicely shot scenes but that's pretty much it. I stan for the song and it's in my top10 favorite songs from her.

Certifications don't mean anything anymore tho, they should raise the number needed for it tbh. I'd rather have it at 300M+ views than vevo certified.

It really matches the song and I love that. It makes the full PI package so amazing.

She's visually delivered better videos on snapchat.

:sure: But well, I guess that's your opinion.

It's a well-made video with great visuals that fits the sporadic, fast-paced nature of the song. I never understood the hate. Yes, it's not as conceptual as some of Gaga's videos, but is a great video nonetheless. And, it also has Daddy Mark Ronson in it. :emma:

tbh i love the video, but i don't think this video (or any of the joanne era tbh) compare to her previous videos. high-concepts, plots, over-the-top, etc. i mean those kind of videos would not have fit with the "authenticity" of the joanne era and i think the videos fit the songs, but you take some and lose some with each era and the videos are not the strong suit this era.

The only underrated Gaga MV is....

Seriously. Months after it's release and it only has 20 M views. Katy dropped BA days ago and it already had 26 M views.

Gaga will always be compared to her previous work/success. The video in itself is great, it's not "gaga great". She put the bar so high for MV that releasing something like this, although I get why she did, will disappoint a lot of people. But hey, she's been trying to seem more "relatable" so this helps!
