I agree! Decent songs. Still waiting for Mariette to destroy everyone. She's back and she performs last in the last semi-final. It's probably even bigger smash than last year, if that's possible 

Serbia stays in the semi-final, it would seem. And UK is collecting yet another bottom 5, though I personally don't hate the song, it's okayish.

Well, it will be a walk in the park for Mariette if the other heats are as weak as the first two. All she needs to do is deliver the same way she did the last two times. I hope she will tbh. AND I HOPE SWEDEN WILL NOT DISAPPOINT FOR ONCE.

Agree and agree. The UK song kinda grew on me, but it still sounds like a bottom 3 for me indeed.

BQL had a better song last year if you ask me, but I agree on Nika. An interesting and modern balkan ballad. I don't know how Europe will react to it, but it sounds good to me. I also really like Lara Kadis.

This normally happens every year sadly. I still find it a good idea to introduce a wildcard place for the finals. I know the wildcard won't do great in the end, but they can still at least end above Spain, Germany and the UK.

So sad to agree with you, especially the last part. Spain and Germany have given us beautiful entries this century, but last few years... Oh, my. I hope they get on their feet soon

Well that was predictible from Margaret, as she doesn't want to represent Sweden in the ESC. She said in an interview that she just wanted to show herself to the swedish audience, as she had already two "hits" in that country (that's more or less what she said )

I actually think Semi-Final 1 is a harder semi final. Like, almost all the countries have the same amount of chance to make it and are on the same level, so it's easier to surprisingly lose. Most of them had good but also bad results in the past. In Semi-Final 2 you have the strongest countries, I agree, but also countries that flopped a lot of times like San Marino, Georgia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Malta and low-key Latvia, Moldova and Serbia. I think Semi-Final 2 is almost settled already, while Semi-Final 1 will be a surprise, hard to predict and a mess and a half.

Saara Aalto came here to save the Nordics with her first song 'Monsters'. Top 5 already and we still will get two other songs
