Still don't understand how that happened

Bellatrix 34,641
Since 2009 Eurovision has had a red carpet event to welcome all the contestants. With this years theme the organisers chose to replace the red carpet with a blue one. It will take place by Lisbon's riverside next to MAAT, the Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia on Sunday 6th of May 17:00 local time (18:00 CEST). As always it will be broadcasted live. The livestream will be available on Eurovisions YouTube channel youtube.com/eurovision
Dutch 89,793
So, here is my updated Top. The overall quality of this year is just great. I love how every single country took the contest serious this year. In my opinion there is no song that standout more than the other songs because they are all great, so to me, my top 15 could all win... 1. Estonia: Elina - La Forza Still giving me goosebumps and tears. Still not over the last note. 9,8 2. Denmark: Rasmussen - Higher Ground This is giving me the same feeling as 'Only Teardrops', only darker and raw, really epic. 9,7 3. France: Madame Monsieur - Mercy This is such a calm almost magical song, the French language and the electronic details really make it great. 9,6 4. The Netherlands: Waylon - Outlaw In 'Em To me this is pure quality. A new flavor to the contest and the song is full of energy. The stage will be on fire (literally). 9,3 5. Croatia: Franka - Crazy I still don't get how this song is SOOO underrated. It's so sexy. 9,1 6. Belgium: Sennek - A Matter Of Time This might end up doing not as good as we think, but this is just quality like the Netherlands. 9,0 7. Finland: Saara Aalto - Monsters Even if I liked Domino more, this turns out to still be a bop after some months, maybe even a bigger one. 9,0 8. Macedonia: Eye Cue - Lost And Found Loved it from the beginning, also underrated and deserve to be in the final. 9,0 9. Sweden: Benjamin Ingrosso - Dance You Off The song itself it's good and also sexy, but with the staging it's just amazing. Sweden didn't disappoint. 8,9 10. Bulgaria: Equinox - Bones Well, I love it more than Kristian last year and he became second. They are great live too. 8,8 11. Austria: Cesar Sampson - Nobody But You I really hope Europe will get behind this. At least the jury should give this a high score. 8,7 12. Azerbaijan: Aisel - X My Heart This bop keeps growing on me, I love the chorus so much. LUNA MOON ME UP TO THE TOHOHOP. 8,6 13. Australia: Jessica Mauboy - We Got Love She shines so much on stage, which gives the song more energy. 8,6 14. Israel: Netta - Toy Yes ladies, it's growing on me. Don't @ me. Still don't get the big winner hype. 8,2 15. Chez Republic: Mikolas Josef - Lie To Me A great bop track, still surprised Chez R. did send such a good song. 8,0 16. Ukraine: Melovin - Under The Ladder This is also a bop, this rank feels really low tho... Not sure about his looks. 7,8 17. Switzerland: ZiBBZ - Stones This is so f*cked up. Switzerland sends quality, but they end up in the wrong Semi-Final... Wildcard please. 7,5 18. Cyprus: Eleni Foureira - Fuego I know this is a bop, I just don't feel it as much is I should for some reason. Maybe her voice is to thin for me. 7,3 19. Norway: Alexander Rybak - That's How You Write A Song It will probably do great, top 10, but for me it's just generic. 20. Germany: Michael Schulte - You Let Me Walk Alone I still think this could do good, but it's getting boring for me now so it fell down, sorry. 7,

Croatia: Franka - Crazy I still don't get how this song is SOOO underrated. It's so sexy. 9,1 I love your top! And I am happy that Franka turned out to be a grower for you as well as for me! Staging will supposedly rely heavily on light and dust, and 2 backing vocalists won't just sing. Not much info, but I am still hoping we somehow create Iveta effect I will post my top soon. Well, thank you. I've good taste. I always loved Franka, but the song only got better and better indeed. Well, the staging sound a little bit like Armenia from last year and Armenia with Iveta, which is also really good. I hope it all works out. Can't wait for your top! Josip 3,971
I have to agree with @Dutch, this year is full of awesome songs, 6 direct finalists are also very nice songs (minus UK), so the finale will be packed with quality. I still fear that stage might disappoint and many countries could have similar staging concepts. I am just gonna go back to praying for that not happening. Also, fingers crossed that voting this year will be tight with no clear winner. Songs suggest that, but a few countries might have superior staging. So my top 10 (way to lazy for top 20 ): 1. Bulgaria The biggest grower for me. Dark, mysterious melody combined with harmonious, but unique voices. I live for this. Also, I expect they will kill it with the staging and end up being overall winners. 2. France Beautiful French pop melody combined with even more beautiful lyrics and meaning. France deserves to win after a long period of time, and I definitely wouldn't mind it. 3. Israel Chicken always gets me. I hope she has something special in store for Lisbon. 4. Czech Republic Mikolas is hot! And although his song might be generic and familiar (hello, Jason Derulo), it's super fun and I enjoy it a lot. 5. Croatia A bit biased, but I still think this song is art and should not be ignored completely like it currently is. I hope Franka delivers 6. Australia Started out like a generic pile of s*it, and ended up being a bop! I will dance to this in May. 7. Sweden Best MF staging, cute Charlie Puth song. With less screeching and even tighter camera angles, it will surely go to my top 5. 8. Poland One of the underrated songs this year. For me, it's a dance/electronic bop. The stage is made for this kind of songs, so they better use it well. 9. Netherlands As we learned from these past years, it's all about quality when it comes to Netherlands. I hope Waylon will have a great deal of energy to elevate the song and end up in top 5. 10. Spain Song is a bit dated, but they are so cute together I can't help myself. Mark my words, if they invested in the staging, this will be one of the biggest contenders for winning the whole thing.
