More sad news. Lys Assia has passed away. She celebrated her 94th birthday on the 3rd of March and passed away peacefully in her home in Switzerland. Rest in peace iconic Queen

Lys Assia was the very first winner of Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 with her song "Refrain"

In 2012 she entered the Swiss national final with "C'etait ma vie", but didn't make it to Eurovision.

Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

We have some positive music news as well from previous Eurovision stars. Starting with The Netherlands:
Ilse DeLange has released the music video for her new single "OK" and she has announced a Dutch tour this fall.

Her Common Linnets partner Waylon who represents the country this year will release his album The World Can Wait on the 13th of April and his tour starts on the 12th of April.

The 2016 winner Jamala and runner-up Dami Im have new material as well.

Jamala has released a single - Kryla (Крила), which means "Wings"

Dami Im has a new album "I Hear a Song" and even she will go on tour. The album is recorded in Nashville and it has influences of blues, country and jazz.
