Hennywise 1,338
Poor soul. May he rest in peace. This world is so cruel I hope those who bullied him will face consequences for the rest of their lives.
He8MyHeart 9,872
Heartbreaking. That poor little boy. The pain and the thoughts that must have been going through his head. His poor family. An absolute and utter tragedy.
ryhanna 3,507
This is so horrible. Far, far too young to experience such abuse. I can only hope that this case encourages stronger anti-bullying programs in schools. Although to be honest, even though they are just kids, the description of what they did to that boy goes far beyond simple bullying. I hope this gives them a wake up call and makes them realise that their actions have serious consequences.
CarlsJrJepsen 238
This is my hometown. We are definitely shocked. We definitely need to get onto something to fix this major problem. This is also not the first elementary school-aged suicide that happened in this town in the past few months.
donutellha 13,819
Oh my god may he rest in peace This saddens me that we havent taken action to provide care for those who are bullied and the consequences are taking their tool. Walk down the runway but don't puke, it's okay. You just had 10 donuts today. Without frosting.
Kermit 15,807
I remember having to be checked into a children's psychiatric ward and there's an area for kids around the age of 6-12 and seeing those kids in pain was almost as painful as the problems which landed me in those places. This has got to be the saddest thing to have happen to your child, or anybody in general. “For me, insanity is super sanity. The normal is psychotic. Bebe 17,289
Tragic. That poor kid and his poor family. It's really horrific that an eight year old child would go through so much torment. Schools really need more support in being able to deal with these incidents. Trained teachers, strong internal policies, therapists. The school officials should have told the mother what actually happened and should have tried to get medical attention for the kid themselves when he was assaulted.. 7 1/2 minutes unconscious??? That is unbelievable and it's unacceptable that this child wasn't properly looked after and that his mother wasn't informed about what happened. I'll personally refrain from passing harsh judgment on the bullies. That's not a defense of their actions and I understand the initial gut reaction to attack them and wish suffering upon them - but I don't know their age, these were probably kids too. Kids that didn't have a full understanding of the consequences of their actions and kids that probably haven't had the luxury of living in a safe and secure environment themselves if the behaviour they are learning is so violent and cruel. Guest
nobody especially not an 8 year old should ever have to be put in such a bad situation like this. My heart goes out to his family
blueberry kisses 10,263
From the article it sounds like the main instigator was a known bully if other kids are running out of the restroom when he walks in. The school should've been aware and keeping a close eye on him. This could've been avoided if his behavior was taken more seriously.
What About Us 1,499
This is sad. I used to go through this when I was younger and it makes me feel sad when I read stories involving people taking their lives over bullying. This **** needs to stop. Promise I'll always be there. Promise I'll be the cure.
QueenGaga 3,447
Those bullies NEED to be jailed and left to starve with two peices of bread everyday. #SorryNotSorry
