Surveillance video shows bullies at a Cincinnati elementary school brutally attacking an unconscious 8-year-old boy, who would take his own life two days later.

Students can be seen kicking and hitting the defenseless child for five minutes in a bathroom at Carson Elementary School on Jan. 24, according to a report obtained by the Cincinnati Enquirer.

This is so sad AN 8-YEAR-OLD BOY

I feel so sorry for primary school kids who deal with that heavy amount of abuse who haven't developed the mental capacity to persevere.

At such a young age this is heartbreaking. Shame on those bullies.

I pray for him.

Terrible. I don't understand how this goes unnoticed on school property. I blame the school for being negligent.

In the words of gaga "I've had enough I'm not a freak. I'm just fighting to stay cool on the streets". His life hadn't really even begun and he had to experience the dark side of humanity. RIP sweet angel

Exactly. I'll definitely hug my kids (bio and surrogate) a little tighter tonight. I can't imagine how devestated his parents must be. If anything ever happened to any of my kids, I'd jump in the coffin with them because there would be no reason to live anymore.

It can't be stopped. Not completely, unfortunately. No matter how much we drill into people that bullying is wrong, people will still do it.

All we can really do is make sure that teachers and authority figures are trained to help prevent incidents and mediate conflicts, and teach kids the consequences of their actions.
