The halftime show catapulted her back into the public eye and everyone was talking about Gaga for weeeeks. Releasing a catchy bop now was a perfect way to come back after Joanne didn't really please the GP and to gain more relevancy. But ASIB was planned in advance so there was no other way of going about it. I will admit that had it not been for the film, The Cure would have been her biggest hit in years because she would have promoted EVERYWHERE & anyone who hears it once, likes it !
