While this elderly woman incident is terrible, psychological studies can describe the teenagers' behavior through group compliance, social situations etc. (look up Milgrim's studies, or the even the Stanford Prison study to a certain extent). For all we know, the fans laughing and calling Azealia Banks racial slurs are not the same ones exuding disgust in this thread. Both situations are wrong at the end, so trying to downplay one in favor other is pointless. A woman, over the age of 65, got thrown on the ground and dragged into a pool. Abuse of senior citizens is serious and being thrown to the ground at that age can lead to serious injuries. Upon watching this disgusting video earlier this week I think the headline said "guy bodyslams elderly woman into pool". Something like that. But when watching the video it seems like the guy try to pick the woman up but ends up slipping/dropping her by mistake. I think his intent was to pick her up and throw her into the pool. Nevertheless he still dragged her and nearly her dogs into the pool as well. But I just wanted to make a point because there's a lot of conclusions there. 2. I really can't explain how disgusted I was upon watching this. I don't want to generalize, but the black community needs to take more responsibility. Not only does this video continue the stereotype that black folks are aggressive, but it also brings another example of a group of black people committing a pointless crime. Now listen... there are plenty of white people, hispanic, muslim, etc groups that are videotaped doing ****, but when the black community makes such a big deal with police brutality and BLM I just lose hope. I try to always look at things from the middle, and considering this video has thousands of angry emojis attached to it on Facebook with thousands of views and hate comments, this whole equity fight was practically lost. What were these kids thinking? They should know that their actions are looked at under a microscope compared to other people. And they wonder why cops end up being aggressive with minorities... Yes not all of them were cheering and laughing, you can hear the worry on some people when the act was happening, but it sounds like there was also people egging this boy on, especially that girl, you clearly hear on the recording. I also forgot to mention, its not just titles... its also the entire story like, ull have a vid sometimes without showing everything that happened before and ppl jump to conclusions just based on what they saw or ppl go protest legal cases when they are not in the court themselves and only know the bits and pieces the media reports on society gets on my nerves that way.
