Nothing against her acting abilities, but her work in AHS is just not good enough for an Emmy nomination. The Emmys are a far more diverse voting body than the Golden Globes and much more competitive. Not to mention, there was much stiffer competition for the Lead Actress in a Limited Series category by the time the Emmys came around.
