I love the Queen but the the bells in the beginning of the song kinda reminds me of Marry You by Bruno Mars. Other than that it was total fire! Especially the bridge.

I love The Queen! I love how upbeat it is, and how it has a confidence inspiring message. It's a great song for getting ready (either in the morning or to go out at night!). 

It did actually took a while for me to really get into this one though. I think at one point it was actually the only song I didn't love off the BTW album.

But it grew on me and now it's a favorite Although the whole BTW album is pretty much a tie for me.  (I love all the songs and don't really have favorites or least favorites. I don't think I can say that about any other album tbh. )

Agree, "The Queen" is my favourite bonus track. Plus, just like lots of other BTW songs, it doesn't conform to regular pop music structure. It's a great song, every BTW song is some sort of Gaga's signature.

Lately I've been listening to Born This Way (album) a lot and The Queen is such a beautiful song. I especially love the lines ''Tonight I will return the fame and riches earned / With you I'd watch them all be burned''   Like, isn't that the soul of Born This Way? The Queen is an important part of the album - Gaga even sang some of it during The Monster Ball before the album was released.

It could have been great but there are a lot of imperfections. The chorus sounds too much like The Edge of Glory, the general tone is too cheesy (except at the end), and some of the lyrics are really great while some others are more generic (the 85678e "I'm gonna reborn like a phoenix").

The song is good, but it's hampered by the production. I'm not sure how I would do it differently, but there's so much reverb on her voice, too much over-the-top synth, too much of everything. A more stripped-down approach (à la "Yoü + I") would have served it better.

The lyrics are just so 

The instrumental, that amazing bridge and outro, I would so cry if Gaga were to perform it.

I swear its one of Gaga's absolute best, yet so underrated.

I first disliked it a lot, until recently, calling it a bad Abba copy cat song. But lately I've been listening to it nonstop. I realised that I kept skipping it for all these years because that song always hit me hard, it's so beautiful.
