Doesn't this happen with every album cycle tho? I think it's mostly nostalgia. By the next album everyone will love Joanne. It's just human nature :lolly:

This is true tho . if you've been on this site long enough you know this happens every time after gaga releases a new album

Btw was dragged hard till ARTPOP came out.

I feel exactly the same towards it since it first came out; it's okay but bad by Gaga's standard.

Most the people who disliked ARTPOP don't talk about it or left. I think the fact that people just don't drag it constantly now that people think "oh, everyone loves it now Joanne is out!" We just talk about something else.

For me, it's a fun little album that isn't meant to be taken anywhere near as seriously as people do.

What About Us

I've loved ARTPOP ever since it came out. I still love it just as much!

Promise I'll always be there. Promise I'll be the cure.

I've loved it since it's release. I always liked Lady Gaga, but I didn't become a fan until ARTPOP. I've always loved everything about the album and era. So don't doubt my love for it. :trollga:

I think it's also important to understand that most of the TF/Monsters left during the great culling and weeding out of this fanbase following ARTPOP, Cheek To Cheek and Joanne, so those that are left have weathered the insults, lashings and smear campaigns and can understand how and why ARTPOP is a good album in its own way, and these positive reviews are much more prevalent than the negative ones that would have been told by the fair-weather fans.

You say that but I've seen so many ARTPOP stans leave because of Joanne, far more than the long timers like moi

I can't believe fans leave after one album they don't like.

The Fame Joanne

I think the music itself didn't get a lot of hate while the era was going on. Joanne was hated on much more
