Gagadonna 10,801 Posted May 4, 2017 Share Posted May 4, 2017 If you really want to know, there was an other concept before that one, LG4 as an album about the decay of the blonde celebrity (there were rumors of songs like "Martyr for Fame", "Private in Public", "Element of Crime"). Princess Die was probably going to be on the album before she came up with the art+pop concept. Even Mary Jane Holland demo lyrics fit the original concept... It's all because of hip problem, because I remember her february 13's tweet about the work with ARTPOP traclist, I think the album was ready then, but... Probably that version was happier and brighter with acid electronic sounds. Because of this period we got Dope instead of I Wanna Be With You, Applause and maybe Do What U Want.
