Repeal it.

Once millions lose coverage, this could actually help Dems in midterms.

I don't think Democrats should sink to that way of thinking. Thousands of people will die due to this bill. If Democrats start seeing this as a good thing because they'll be re-elected, they really have to re-evaluate why they're in politics in the first place.

I'm sure if Trumpcare becomes reality the democrats will wave in the midterms.

They're smart enough to keep ObamaCare in place till 2018 or 2020 probably.

Lets see if it is better. Unfortunately Obamacare premiums are way too high so hopefully this lowers them but still provides good coverage.

"Several states did not see such dramatic premium changes, and experts say that health care costs broadly are increasing at a lower rate than before the health care law took effect. Most people get their health care through the employer, which hasn’t seen the same premium spikes. And for people on the health care exchanges, federal subsidies are offsetting premium increases for many."

Im going to guess that Republicans will not introduce a bill that will provide A) Better or comparable health coverage B) To those who have it already and / or more people at a C) cheaper price or same price. Implications? Some people will lose healthcare and will die as a result.

Its the Republican party's lack of empathy for all Americans that made me register as a Democrat for the first time (literally this year) and stuff like this puts it in the rear view mirror.

The only Obamacare repeal I support needs to be attached to a healthcare for all system.

We will see on that, even if they kick the can down the road, the Dems can still use this against them and rally the people around stopping it before it can begin.

I dont understand why we can't just model ours after a country that has successful healthcare plans

Because we have an employer based system that has served the majority of generations well for a minimal amount for quality of service...and those people don't want to give that up. Plus, it's a big country with states that are  vastly different in their needs and budgets. It's complicated, to say the least. :)

You don't have to wait to see if it is better. It is the same **** bill as last time that the CBO said increased premiums for almost everyone but the young and healthy. It lets all insurance companies, including employer based systems put in lifetime caps. It will exclude millions of people with preexisting conditions. We will go back to people losing their house, business or claiming bankruptcy due to an illness or accident.

All this, so they can give rich people tax breaks...and get rid of that plan that the black guy started.
