I think I just broke my hip on this thread. It's not a flop when they're still rising and just see their smallest rise in the particular year. :laughga: Let's not pretend like we're not gonna throw coins in September. :cryga:

As an Apple fan and loyal customer, I will admit that the iPhone 7 was a flop :madge:

Its no longer cool to have an iPhone, thats why. Plus they are extremly overpriced and overrated.

Their sales are down like 1%. It's nothing to get worried about. Plus price is normally the same as other relevant phones (Samsung). Mine was free because Apple gives you over $200 in credit when you get a new phone. Plus iPhones are still continuously ranked at the top of every best phones list.

Now is Apple lacking in innovation? Yes. That's where the overrated ness may come in.

There's only so much you can do what a phone's shape

i.e. The Galaxy S series, iPhone 6-7

This mutual gaze was a “longing to touch” or a "pre-coitus" stare.

Apple hasn't been innovativefor a long time, unfortunately when Steve Jobs passed way. They've been too predictable and expensive for technology that is aged :madge:

Just say ARTPOP moment. It's more iconic. A Katy Perry Moment = (no tea no shade) a basic, generic era.

Apple is basic and generic :madge:

As someone who loves his iPhone 7, I will admit the design has to change at some point. People have short attention spans and really only care about differences they can see. The average customer isn't impressed by knowing their phone has an A9 chip vs an A8 chip, etc.

If the iPhone 8 is underwhelming, I'm afraid Tim Cook may soon be out the door.

Apple is seeing a surprise fall in iPhone sales.

Apple sold fewer iPhones than a year ago in the first three months of 2017, the company said in its latest results. The California company, which is due to release a new phone later this year, said it sold 50.8 million iPhones in the period, down 1% year-on-year.

Apple reported a 4.6% Rise™ in revenue across the whole company, slightly below analysts' expectations. Shares in the firm fell nearly 2% in after-hours trading after earlier hitting a record high. Apple CEO Tim Cook told BBC reporters: "When the gays are at my feet again and the hunties all start circling, they're whispering 'stream The Cure on Spotify' but still I floppedT."

Apple said quarterly profits were $11bn (£8.5bn), up 4.9% from the same period in 2016. Despite falling unit sales, revenue from the iPhone still climbed 1% to $33.2bn as it sold more of the bigger, more expensive iPhone 7 Plus.

That's what they get for focusing on their 10th anniversary edition of the iPhone :giggle:

I'm looking forward for it though.

That's what you get when you've not be innovative since the iPhone 5... Both software and hardware.

It may come a bit insensitive but it was a good thing that Tim Cook replaced Steve Jobs if Apple kept selling those tiny 4inches phone they would have lost a market. And that war against Android was just showing how petty Jobs was. Now it's time to stop copying Android features to keep up and it's time to invest in R&D.

I can understand the high price of a S7-8 because the curved screen has cost MILLIONS in R&D. I can't understand a high price on an iPhone anymore when you can have a better software and hardware for 300€ less with Android (or maybe laziness now has a value and that's why the phone is that expensive)

Is this the same underperformance as an album selling 1 million pure sales in six months in 2017? :oprah:

Can any Apple stan or anyone tell me what the latest model has changed since the last one?

I've seen nothing new so far and the prices are just ridiculous. I would never waste my money on a phone just to be cool and chic or w/e.
