Apple sold fewer iPhones than a year ago in the first three months of 2017, the company said in its latest results. The California company, which is due to release a new phone later this year, said it sold 50.8 million iPhones in the period, down 1% year-on-year. Shares in the firm fell nearly 2% in after-hours trading after earlier hitting a record high. Apple CEO Tim Cook told BBC reporters: "When the gays are at my feet again and the hunties all start circling, they're whispering 'stream The Cure on Spotify' but still I floppedT." Apple said quarterly profits were $11bn (£8.5bn), up 4.9% from the same period in 2016. Samsung has had an ip68 rated phone for almost 2 years when they released the iphone 7, which has a lesser ip67 rating. With the s7, you get curved glass, a headphone jack, fast-wireless charging, a better camera, AMOLED screen with a huge battery just to start with. It's ridiculous how lazy apple has become.
