Just because you like or dislike a song doesn't mean others are supposed to feel the same way. Personally, I always skip Americano, FOHL, BJAF, BK and HU whenever I listen to BTW on repeat. However, that doesn't mean that these songs are fillers by default or hold no relevance to the album's message whatsoever. I skip them simply because I usually can't stand them. They're supposed to release the best to draw attention to the project to sell because they want to make money. But sometimes the best songs are not radio friendly??????? Singles = Summer blockbuster movies (some can be high quality but usually movies to just entertain and make $$) Songs not released = Oscar contenders released in December (movies that are usually better than those released as box office hits) Ya know? Listening to the whole album will make you feel that this sound has been done before in the album, that is why Electric Chapel or some other song in the second half is said to be a filler. Fillers are subjective, but for me, I do consider Bad Kids, Heavy Metal Lover, Fashion Of His Love, The Queen, Black Jesus and Electric Chapel as fillers just because of sound. Sinner's Prayer is too lyrically reflective and beautiful to be considered as a filler. Just Another Day is the perfect closer and has a different sound. Joanne doesn't have fillers. The best songs are not automatically singles. A single is a song with a potential commercial success that will be played on the radio to attract masses and make them buy the album. And that's why some song are designed to be single. They'll have catchier books, lighter lyrics and production.
