Brilliant single. One of the indicators of the fact that “Rhythm of Love” was an improvement over the first two bubblegum pop albums. It is also significant to have featured a rap vocal on a pop song, which was a rare tradition in 1990. Kylie the trailblazer anyone? (8) @Turuncan

I like this song, but it really doesn’t meet the thrust of power that Better The Devil You Know or Step Back In Time Do and, as they’re all on Rhythm of Love, it’s so hard not to compare them. That being said, it’s a great energetic song. (8) @IndieKylie

Oh my gosh, another reason to fall in love with Kylie! Those vocals (why does she sing it on the lower key during live performances?!), that video, those lyrics, that orchestration! I am infatuated with this song! But as the case in many other singles, I love the longer album version much better, especially the instrumental bridge. (10) @Turuncan
