I mean under normal circumstances its a nice service to have and $470M isnt like a tone of money but... Ontario has long struggled with finances. [/b]Not long ago we had bigger deficits than the Federal Government[/b] We finally managed to balance the budget for this year. We should be focusing on getting our debt down and finances under control not start adding programs when we just balanced the budget If we do increase spending then it should be on investments like infrastructure, education and innivation programs to help economy Im not hard-core conservative. I think a few basic services from Government are beneficial. I dont think we should be like cutting everything. But now is not the time for Ontario to baloon spending again. We need to get finances in order cuz if another crisis comes we will have little fiscal room to deal with it and we cant rely on the Federal Government to fix all pir problems This is just 1 of many new programs. Healthcare is getting a $7 Billion boost this year from the Province alone plus whatever Justin Trudeau adds from the Federal Level
