Heard her 🎶 and didn't see what all the fuss was about tbh..until her performance with Elton. Wig was in orbit for days...and was front row at all her Texas shows from the first leg of The Monster Ball forward.

Back in 2009 I saw the PF video and I found out myself replaying it a hundred times, I was obsessed, I found her so interesting and different from the others pop girls and since then I'm a stan, it just took me a few minutes to find all her music, I remember hearing Dirty Ice Cream and be disappointed when I saw it wasn't included on The Fame

I was in the car with my mom, Just Dance came up on the radio, my mom turned it up, and then i shut it out says 'mom i hate this song, it gives me an headache'.... who would have known 

I hated it for a year, but now it's one of my classics 

Then Paparazzi came up and i loved it, but i just listened to the song without being interested by the artist. Then I started to watch her videos, i was so shocked by them (i was young but still), like i would literally be shaking of shock watching them !

But now I'm never shocked and i just can't remember why i was so schocked by those things at the time (either i was too young or i'm now immune to schoking scenes because of my gayness ) 

Then someone bought me TFM for my birthday (can't remember who but thank u, you changed my life) and then I fell in love with telephone and the deal was sealed....

omg me too 

I was new in the music industry (lol) and i didn't understand anything (singles/albums/unreleased...) 

I used to check out wikipedia to see which songs would have a video, and it said 'dirty ice cream new single', and i didn't understand why i couldn't buy it on iTunes, it gave me anxiety

one point i thought she couldnt sing  & i remember my mate played me poker face before it became big i was 14 at the time & i was like was is this tf is this sh*t , the lord showed me the way & 9 years later still playing it , paparazzi v festival 2009 changed that, it holds a strong memory hard to explain but thats why paparazzi is special to me

When I first heard "Just Dance" I hated it  About a month I was turning off every radio and TV when the song was played haha. And then one time I decided to give it a chance and try to enjoy it. Never stopped enjoying it since then haha. After that 1 month, I became a Monster.

I was entralled fully. I was like, this bitch is CRAZY what is she DOING  And as wacky and insane as I figured it was, I couldn't help but to Google her afterwards, where I came across her Myspace and some old tracks. It was still weeks away from The Fame Part 1 so I had yet to hear the clip of "Poker Face" (can you imagine; scouring the internet for a full version and not getting it for months? It was hell) but I jammed to BDR and Just Dance for a long while..

and the rest was history

The very first time I saw her was in the LoveGame video, and it was like 'wow, ok, I think I'm too young for this many sex references'. Then Paparazzi became my obsession, though at that point I wasn't really a follower, I just liked that one song a lot... What ended up drawing me in were the interviews - not only was she fun and charismatic, but smart... And then Bad Romance came out and the universe was at peace...
