It's not related to him directly - it's just when the polls happened to start. Trump's approval rating is the lowest since tracking began, which technically means that it's the lowest ever recorded for the first 100 days. At 53% disapproval and 42% approval in ABC News/Washington Post, it's a record, seeing as no president from Truman until now had under 50% approval during their first 100 days, and the highest disapproval rating in the first 100 days until now was Clinton with 39%.
