China bombers on high alert, ready to respond to NK situation

Washington (CNN) - Chinese air force land-attack, cruise-missile-capable bombers were put "on high alert" on Wednesday as the US sees evidence that the Chinese military is preparing to respond to a potential situation in North Korea, a US defense official tells CNN.

The official said the US has also seen an extraordinary number of Chinese military aircraft being brought up to full readiness through intensified maintenance.

These recent steps by the Chinese are assessed as part of an effort to "reduce the time to react to a North Korea contingency," the official said.

Such a contingency could include the risk of an armed conflict breaking out as tensions on the peninsula have increased in the wake of multiple North Korean missile tests. The US and Pyongyang have ratcheted up their rhetoric, with the latter's state media warning Thursday that a pre-emptive strike by North Korea would result in the US and South Korea being "completely destroyed in an instant."

If NK tries anything, their entire country will be reduced to rubble at the hands of our disgustingly huge and powerful military. That I'm sure of.

This may sound awful, but this may be the best time to strike NK under a pugnacious leader of US that is Trumpy. Imagine if we have actually detroned Kim Jung Un: there won't uncertainty of nuclear threat and a free North Korea in the future.

Yes, but at the cost of at least Seoul, South Korea if not much more  While NK doesn't currently have the ability to nuke the United States or many other places (maybe Japan though?) it does have the immediate power to attack South Korea from various routes of deployment and the U.S can't have that happening either. South Korea is also obv. wary of this and kind of just like on thin ice

I want for Donald Trump to eliminate them. I want him to strike first and strike now and absolutely destroy them. I want it to be instantaneous. I want him to take out every military base and every missile launch location, and I want NK to crumble.

I'd rather it not happen and obviously peace is priority but there will be no peace in that region until their nuclear program is dismantled. It's time to be savage.

Im finally getting my Canadian passport soon I'm planning to visit my best friend in California for our birthdays (about 2 weeks apart). I havent seen him in 5 years and he's in the US Navy. We're best man to each other's weddings.
