Lady Gaga Shows Companies How to Make a Comeback

Lady Gaga took five actions that show companies how to make a comeback:

1. Acknowledge the need to change.

2. Introduce innovation that leverage your core strength.

3. Target your appeal.

4. Prompt reconsideration with high-profile, on-brand actions.

5. Build a loyal community before you need it.

 

I think #5 was a very important point for them to make. Good job forbes.

This is a neat article. Lady Gaga really has reclaimed the public adoration. Anyone who says that the Joanne Era + The Cure aren't successful are delusional. It's probably her most successful era after TF+TFM. It's excited, different, and you never know what to expect. The public loves her again. Ah, this reminds me of such good times. I'm glad she's getting the recognition again. 

So many people on this site said she'd never have a Top 10 again after MR, and it looks like she may end up having a consecutive Top 10 hit.

The difference is ARTPOP had much higher expectations than Joanne and was not received as well critically. It's all perspective. We all know ARTPOP was actually a success.

Definitely not. Sales climate is different. ARTPOP underperformed, Joanne did not.
