Gaga and her team dropped Joanne for this radio friendly/generic/dance pop anthem/whatever you wanna call it, because they want to win the GP back. They gotta cure her radio & streaming and this song is just the right song to do so. It's increasing steadily & being added to so many playlists + impacting radio soon so I don't get why some of you are melting down already. (Just ignore iTunes for a week and go stream TC on Spotify & YouTube). Interscope said they were only scratching the surface with SB. I trust that they will manage this era well. Imo the video shouldn't come so soon, let the song build its audience & release the video to push it to its peak. Stay, TWIL and even Closer's videos were only released months after the single. Streaming and radio is growing, and sales will pick up again once the song become ubiquitous. The Cure is staying for at least four months.
