Ahh, such a long run. One of Gaga's most controversial songs (especially among fans), and it was a ballad. :reductive:

Oh thank the lord

For some reason I love it so much when songs I like make year ends, as if it validates my taste in music

Billboard better pay it justice, cause The Cure would be lonely :reductive:

lol, we're the same person.

So on 2015's year-end chart Kelly Clarkson's Heartbeat song was #91 and this is how it charted:

Heartbeat Song (2015)
1st Week: #37
2nd Week: #67
3rd Week: #56
4th Week: #34
5th Week: #44
6th Week: #46
7th Week: #37
8th Week: #21 - PEAK POSITION
9th Week: #30
10th Week: #28
11th Week: #31
12th Week: #24
13th Week: #31
14th Week: #44
15th Week: #49
16th Week: #51
17th Week: #58
18th Week: #61
19th Week: #71
20th Week: #72
(knocked out)

Now the first 4 weeks of MRs chart run were in the 2016 billboard year (mid November 2015- mid-November 2016), so those won't count towards 2017, but the 16 weeks MR had in the 2017 year will.

these are them:

5th Week: #52
6th Week: #62
7th Week: #70
8th Week: #83
9th Week: #86
10th Week: #96
11th Week: #97
12th Week: #4 - PEAK POSITION
13th Week: #18
14th Week: #30
15th Week: #30
16th Week: #29
17th Week: #38
18th Week: #46
19th Week: #37
20th Week: #41
(knocked out)

I think that compares to Kelly's cuz of MR's #4 peak, but i guess we'll see lol

Yeah, I think it should do just fine since it spent 2 weeks in top 20. I remember that one Nicky Jam song peaked #56 and still made the year end in 2015. I guess time will tell.

Sad that Billboard introduced such stupid rule... Songs should be on the charts as long as they fight! ;-)

they might say that we're crazy, but i’m just in ❤️ with u

Lion Heart

I'm tearing up :(

It was a long and difficult journey. I hope it gets a Grammy nomination.

I do side with the rule. It's called the "hot 100" chart, and the song isn't 'hot' if it can't get above #50. (I like million reasons).
