Hi, so I'm working on this mashup (it's still a surprise)

and I know how speed up a track to a fixed BPM, but for the track I'm mashing up I need to speed up the vocals during the track, since the bridge in the instrumental goes from 65.5 BPM to 131 BPM. I have tried it, but it doesn't properly match up and the pitch is influenced by changing the tempo. My question is, how can I speed up a track from BPM(A) to BPM (B) without changing the pitch?

If you know a method pls post it here, or PM me

Is it a gradual increase in tempo? If it is then thats a little bit more complicated to explain.

If not then u can just create 2 vocal tracks and change the tempo for each in like Audacity (free program). It doesn't change the pitch. :whitney:

There can be 99 bottoms in the area but all it takes is 1 top to believe in you.

Ok sure. Btw that means u have to "automate" the rise in tempo in w/e program you're using. It depends on the program.

I did that in FL, but it automatically changes the pitch as well  I'll PM you in a bit

I'm not sure if the problem has been solved, but if you're using FL, follow these steps.

Make sure the project bpm is the same as your instrumental that you're using for the mashup!

1. Look for the audio file you want to stretch.

2. Left click it.

3. Right click on the wheel that says "TIME" under it.

4. Choose Autodetect, then click on "Type in (BPM)" and type in the bpm of whatever you're stretching.

5. Click on Resample, which is right next to "Mode"

6. Choose e3 generic, and that should be all

Hope this helped :giggle:

65.5 and 131 bpm are the same-ish, I think
