Xardas 1,593
Generally speaking. I'm more fond of gothic/symphonic/metal/rock stuff etc, but I love Gaga wholeheartedly as an artist, a vocalist an a person.I used to listen her a lot in TF/TFM times when I didn't develop my real music taste yet.. I enjoyed most of BTW, liked/appreciated some songs from ARTPOP. I was happy when she released the jazz album and I really enjoyed some aspects of Joanne's sound, although now I listen to her ocasionally. The fact that I am no more a big mainstream music fan gives me this more objective view on Gaga's career and I really respect her for her musical versatility and that she can sound very different in every song, fit every genre and always sound authentic in every kind of music she does. I like the fact she experiments a lot, even though her last two albums were not as successful experiments as the previous ones. And now we have this mainstream sound with The Cure, which I also love. She proved once again that she is able to sound great in everything. I'm happy that she tries to regain her position in pop music and win GP's recognition not only as an outstanding vocalist, but also as still relevant music maker. As every other little mosnter, I believe, I want her to be on the top again so let keep our fingers crossed she releases some good new music soon ond show them all again what Lady Gaga really is. Blade 5,603
I totally agree with you. I wasn't a fan of Jazz at all, I only knew about 5 Jazz songs but Gaga introduced me to the world of that genre and now I have at least 20 Jazz songs on my phone (excluding C2C). Also, I'm in love with "Joanne". That album has so many great songs & I'm so thankful for her artistry. As far as it goes for "The Cure" - I like it. It's a cute song & it sounds modern. I love how versatile my fav is

Lassex 1,169
I agree with a lot of things you said, but it was always easy for me to love Gaga because I love pop music. I actually think her first two albums weren't very experimental/risque - they were solid pop albums. In my opinion, Born This Way and Joanne are the most experimental ones. ARTPOP was pretty wild in it's own way too. Anyway, I think the biggest problem of her career is that she's almost too talented. I feel like she doesn't know how to focus on one thing at a time. She could do ANYTHING related to music or acting. And even though I love this new song and wish it would become successful, it just seems too easy for Gaga. I kind of hope it was not a part of an album. But I trust her artistic instinct and the people around her so I'm sure she knows what she's doing.
