I hated this show but this review is literally the dumbest thing I've read in years and I've read plenty of stupid awful LAT articles so that's saying a lot

There's nothing harder for people to do than admit they were fooled.

They dissed the halftime show so obviously they should drink some bleach and be on with life

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

I agree the overall performance seemed stronger in the first half, with more visuals, choreos and props, but a show is supposed to change rhythms and atmospheres throughout, so I have no problem with the 2nd half being more laid back.

Eye roll gif...I mean, really. She can't please everyone of course but she was just super laid back!  I really dug all her "yeah, man"; "Coachella is fun, man"; "**** yeah" vibes.  Does that really equate or signal laziness?  New visuals; new single; great vocals on "older" tracks.

Feel so bad that she is so heavily criticized.  Criticism is normal and all but got-damn, people are coming for her Coachella performance.  I understand it is the land of "basic bitchness" but she did very well.

Yes,to the Cure! :rockstar:

I get that she was a little bit messy and the outfits weren't that great but keep in mind they made this show in less than a month

Ian posted on Facebook thanking Gaga and Richy for "putting on a tour show in a week" so it's obvious why the show ended up being a bit messy. Why are y'all saying gaga was too messy and unpolished when y'all know she had to do this last minute to fill for Beyoncé? :air:

as regards the LA Times...

"she was providing her own unique energy, an intensely focused beam of the cartoon-rebel charisma lacking from last year’s so-so “Joanne” album and her disappointing performance at the Super Bowl halftime show"

"after “Bad Romance” she still had a minute or two before Coachella’s curfew, so she took the opportunity to speak to the crowd. And what did she tell us at this fraught historical moment? That her new song was available to download on iTunes. How inspiring."

It was really, really messy. She was off all time, the outfits were terrible (aside from the Scheisse one, which was flawless), she looked bored..

I don't wanna be rude but you have been complaining about everything lately :oprah: I know she seemed off at times but it's normal I think, she had like a month to rehearse the whole show while the SB took her 3 lol She was exhausted.

what's everything tho :oprah: the performance was very sloppy and the song is just a commercial-bite thing, and no one can deny that, i think. That's my complain.

To be fair, Coachella is basically in LA and the LA Times is the "local" paper. So it's not a "random" find but relevant,  local perspective.

Still not here for their negativity tho.
