Why Are Some Of Us So Negative And Ungrateful Towards Gaga?

I'm not trying to act like an innocent angel or something, but I just wanna discuss this since I've the feeling that "we" (the fanbase in general) have a lot of complaints about Gaga nowadays.

So, last night Gaga surprised us all with a - in my eyes - great Coachella performance which she really dedicated to her real fans. The fans who don't only care about her hits, but also enjoy and appreciate her other stuff. How amazing was it to hear songs like Speechless, Sexxx Dreams, Scheiße and Love Game again? I mean, who had that ever expected? 

And on top of that, she even surprised us all with the release of a brand new single The Cure. And to be honest, I expect more new songs to be released soon. 

Maybe the new song isn't really your cup of tea, which can happen of course, not judging that. BUT I see a lot of negative comments on this (supposed to be) fan site not only about this new song, but also about her whole performance. People are complaining about her lack of energy for example and the way the Coachella performance was.

I've seen the same things happen during the Super Bowl Halftime Show, not as much as now though. Also during the release of Joanne people were so negative about Gaga, which makes me very sad actually. AND people are judging her way to much for her single choices. Forget DIC!

SO, my point: Gaga is working EXTREMELY HARD! She released an album, did the Dive Bar Shows, did the Super Bowl Halftime Show, is doing big gigs as Coachella, is preparing for A Star Is Born wherin she plays the main character and she also produces the soundtrack of that movie, is preparing for The Joanne Tour, is making new material and released a brand new single The Cure AND SO ON!

She is working so hard (for us). Sometimes it just feels unrightful to see such a big amount of complaining people. Of course, you can't like every single thing she does, but I feel some of us lost their respect for this hard working woman.

I think it's cause some fans think they have this weird ownership of her and think that they'd be better at managing her career than she/they would.

Just let her get on with it and enjoy the journey.

Whoever thought that her performance wasn't good,i will ask you this:

How about you try dancing,singing,playing instruments for 1 hour while you are in heels.The performance was one of her best ones and whoever disagrees apparently doesn't recognize hard work.

Because we have dealt with massive GP pushback in the last 5 years so people clung to "Music Not The Bling." And how Gaga is a "true artist" unlike xyz who did abc.

And now that their opinions of Gaga / Imterscope are being challenged by releasing a GP friendly song, they are doubling down and applying the same scutiny to her instead of taking the opportunity to exlpore a new genre.

People are allowed to have opinions. Some people didn't like the show (I thought it was great, personally). Some people don't like the new song (I despise it). Nothing she does is ever going to collectively please her fanbase or the public.

I don't really liked the show but I love The Cure.

It's ok to not like the song, but some people act like Gaga commited a crime

Wait. as a human being with a brain and feelings, i'm not allowed to have an opinion? Do I have to like everything she does? If not, after 8 years being here i'm bad fan or person? She killed Coachella, it was amazing and I ADORED the setlist, but The Cure left me meh.

im not "negative". what i am is disappointed. i've followed this woman for years and i know she's capable of doing way better than this. from ARTPOP at itunes to the dive ball tour, she's delivered close, heartfelt, outstanding performances and some bad ones too. this one was a bad one (with great moments, yes, but still a bad one overall).

i can't help but ask the best for her because i know she has it. if i was talking about some other pop act, i'd be pleased already cause i know that is it for mos of them.

i know i'll grow to love The Cure. it'll take time but as of now, i cant help but feel ive wasted my time.

im afraid too. Coachella was a decising performance and after this **** up, the gp may not swallow her again.

You are of course allowed to have an opinion.If all humanity could agree on one thing where would our end be?Tbh i felt the same thing about Perfect Illusion and then it hit me and now i think of it as the best song on Joanne so hang in there and hopefully you will like it
