So many fans not understanding the meaning of when Gaga calls herself a music lover. 
She's one of the few people who's able to rock out to any genre, so why do people dare judge her for being hooked on the current sound? 

She's probably been wanting to try her own spin on the sound for quite some time. Tell me, has her albums EVER continued to stick to one sound? NO. 
Her taste in music is incredibly diverse, so her trying this sound is no sin, nor is it a sign that she will stick to it forever.

What I meant to say was the era was a short-lived phase to let time pass by, and she really didn't commit to it as much such as releasing more singles from the album and just living the era. There are great songs from the album that speaks about the essence of Joanne such as the title track, Sinner's Prayer or even Hey Girl. I'm still hoping she releases singles from Joanne because it is such an amazing album and it just needs her commitment to it.

Whatever fans may be saying, this song is WHAT WE NEEDED. Gaga is an artist, true, but she needs exposure otherwise she'll become another Christina Aguilera. Million Reasons was a hit in America thanks to the SuperBowl, but that is not enough. Her last worldwide hit was Applause (2013), which was four years ago. If she wants to reconquer the world, she needs something fresh, pop and trendy. Surprise! That's what The Cure consist of. The song may not be the most original she ever made, but it's still a pretty good one with beautiful lyrics, flawless vocals and a damn hot instrumental track.
