To be honest I think the very few who don't like this song are the Joannesters who said Gaga has evolved beyond pop music and anyone who wanted TFM 2.0 were just reductive twink power bottoms or whatever. I don't think the same people who drag Joanne are also dragging this -- for the most part.

So, you're going to have your factions of the fan base who complained then and a much smaller faction complaining now but I wouldn't even address their ill-informed opinions they will be drowned out by the worldwide acclaim of this song in time because it's 🔥 it's her early sound Second Time Around / Nothin' On But The Radio meets classic contemporary Gaga ala Sexxx Dreams / Do What U Want.

I don't want to be the monster who complains about stupid ****, but wow. This song from her just sounds so refreshing. I can't even compare it to Joanne. I am happy that she returned to making POP music.
