Human rights activists in Russia say men suspected of being gay have been detained and tortured and that over 100 are being held in the mainly Muslim Chechen republic run by Ramzan Kadyrov. I understand what you're saying but any voice, mocking or not, is better than no voice so it's never counterproductive.
