However Owen's mom says he spends large amounts of his time in hospitals and at doctor visits. Owen was diagnosed with rare conditions, including Dravet Syndrome. The condition is described as catastrophic and lifelong form of epilepsy. Jennifer says he could suffer up to 16 seizures in a day. He also suffers from developmental and verbal delays, along with a form of Autism. Owen is very select with speaking, but will say the words "Lady Gaga" ' 'Collins, with the help of a co-worker, put together a video and posted to her Facebook. Since it has been posted, so far the video has received more than 15 thousand views. Collins says the more it is shared, the better the chances it could be seen by the Mother Monster herself. For Owen, his mother says the message from the song "born this way" touches him on a personal level. This song gives Owen the courage to know being different is accepted and welcomed.
