Spicer, offered a chance to clean up his Hitler comments: “He was not using the gas on his own people the same way that Assad is doing."

Is he saying Hitler isn't as bad because he gassed Jews instead of his own people? The clarification is even worse than the original.

Not to mention he gased Jews from Germany, so they were his people.

His statement is still objectively false.

"You had someone as despicable as Hitler who didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons."

He's a moron, but we're not focusing on something even more disgusting: did he really think chemical weapons are on some sort of 'unnaceptable' level and that other types of weapons (missiles, bombs) were somewhat more acceptable? Is he trying to justify the countless other attacks the US led on the middle east as being on an 'appropriate' level?

I've never read somethong so delusional.

Yes, he is saying that. They have to act like chemical weapons are immoral while other weapons that kill civilians aren't because America has killed so many civilians (500k in Iraq alone), that we don't even try to hide it anymore. America pretty much admits its a bloody imperialistic nation.

The litmus test for our next nominee should be an end to warfare in the Middle East. This has to ****ing stop. We can not continue to kill millions in the Middle East. It is immoral. We don't belong there, we never did, we're spending hundreds of billions of dollars a year on the war of terror and we're slaughtering millions. We killed more people in Syria in March then ISIS or Russia for ****sake. This can't continue.

In school we're taught it's normal that the US attacks because they need oil and it's all about the money no one cares about the people :emma: so i really doubt anything is ever stopping until they take over the region and/or use up all the oil reserves which are running out

Of course no one cares about the people lol, I hope no one mistook America for having compassion. You know half the people here are so selfish that they'd want their taxes to fund healthcare or college for people in their country. People in other nations aren't even an after thought. Most people don't even know (or care) how many millions have been slaughtered.

We're nation of largely sick, selfish people (mostly conservatives).

Yeah, that's too far. The US has far more moderates and liberals, they just don't always show up to vote. Anger seems to motivate people more, and conservatives were very angry about Obama. (and progression)

And yeah, people that work damn hard for their money don't want to let it go. One day you will understand. People have their own commitments to take care of and don't want to let go of their money they are earning. It takes time to convince people that giving more taxes could be better in the long run, but people naturally want to hang on to the money they are earning. That doesn't make them selfish assholes.

It's not like he's bound to it. He could leave at any time, and he knew what he was signing up for on day one. I don't feel bad for him at all.

I only watched the first video. I've never cringed so much.  It may just be a silly mistake but damn that's embarrassing.

1. It's obviously wrong what he said

2. Even if Hitler wouldn't have used chemical weapons, that doesn't add anything to the topic :laughga:

It's not that they don't wanna pay that bothers me, it's why they don't wanna pay. Many people specifically don't wanna pay because they feel other people are undeserving. For example, I was on Facebook I was reading comments from people talking about Cuomo's free college plan and some talked how much the taxes are, that's understandable but I read far too many who were angry that other people were gonna have the benefit of going to school for free. They hate the idea of someone receiving something. Never mind all the handouts older people get from the taxpayer. You also see it when people have this horrible attitude toward people using the social safety net. They're so hateful to people that need help. That's what I don't like.

Notice these people don't complain about the defense budget being massive even tho it takes a lot of their tax dollars? That's partially because they're obscenely paranoid but also because they don't see that as a hand out. The fact it's not seen as a hand out makes them feel better about it.
