Is Ivanka Flipping the Script?

Okay, so this whole bombing Syria thing was a move that was completely contrary to Trump's alt right "fan base". 

Eric Trump has now stated that Ivanka seemed to be the force that got her father to do it. 

And now Trump's press secretary is speaking more liberally and attacking Russia, saying they're going to be on the wrong side of history. 

Bannon seems to be thrown to the curb

And Ivanka and her husband have taken more involved roles (two liberals).

 

Idk about you, but i feel like there's a change starting to occur. 

 

Not that i like Trump at all, but if Ivanka and her husband can have some influence, i at least feel a tad more hopeful than I did a month ago.

Yes, Ivanka and Jared Kushner are extremely liberal and are his chief advisors. His conservative fans feel betrayed. Some of the people he is hiring are liberal and they think it is because of Jared

It did blow up the airbase where the chemical weapons were stored and very few people died so I consider it a success

it destroyed 20% of Syria's air force, which is good. 

Violence isn't good, but hopefully this will protect other innocent Syrian lives from being lost.

Disagree. My thoughts summarized:

She's complicit in every sense of the word. Neither her nor her husband or her brothers have any intention of strongly pushing for progressive issues. Ivanka's brand of feminism and progressivism has always been about getting what is best for her and her family, she is no liberal sweetheart and we should stop pretending she is just because she's pleasant to look at

Quit repeating alternative facts. The airbase was not "blown up".

Very few people died because they warned the Russians, who then warned their ally. That gave them time to move and shelter the majority of their military equipment and clear the airbase.

What?? Bannon was not thrown to the curb.. he's still holding an even higher spot in government than he did in the NSC by directly advising the President. Also none of them are speaking more liberally but retaliating to Russia's aggression to the US. This reads like right-wing propaganda lol

His role has been chief advisor to the President since day one, so idk what you're saying. His role has certainly been diminished and contacts I have inside the WH say that Trump is distancing himself from Bannon and possibly too Priebus (who I've heard might quit soon).

Was gonna say the same thing. Scarlett Johansson actually had some insightful words to say the other day that I really agreed with. 

Ivanka Trump kind of represents that old-style of thinking where a woman can only be powerful behind the scenes by convincing her husband/father to do certain things (in this case I think Trump wants to be both ).

When she recognized that I was really impressed.
