The song John Wayne is literally about her being in a trash relationship but still lusting for the guy. She basically equated John Wayne to trash. It's a metaphor just like Judas. But slay. I guess they can keep their wrong interpretation :madge:

Radio Ga Ga

I actually know this channel cuz it makes the worst song of 2016/2015/2014 lists, and I mostly agree with them and they're so funny

it's the first time he has dissed gaga though, im kinda sad cuz i use to like the channel

but his stuff is mostly for comedic purposes, so i don't really take it too seriously

Don't give haters attention. They love it. I would've never heard of this random channel if it wasnt for this thread. :poot:

This is good. When people make videos like this that means Gaga is gaining relevancy.

Dont you remember when there were hundreds of Gaga = satanism videos during the hight of her career?

Wow, the reach.. is he really dense or just digging super deep to find some reason to rip her apart because he dislikes her?

It's not like she's singing about banging Hitler.. she's singing about an actor who epitomizes the rugged cowboy type :toofunny: Of course he didn't have enlightened views and was close-minded. That was the general attitude back then.. he was born in 1907 for Christ's sake. Anyone from that time period is going to have views out of line with what is socially acceptable in modern times. I thought it was obvious that she's not promoting his personal beliefs, but romanticizing his rugged cowboy image? :rip:

Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.

Honestly?

John Wayne here is a metaphor, it is in no way related to the actual, truly vile human being John Wayne. It's a parody. Even the end of the video with the portrait on the guitar as she "comes to her senses" and walks away shines an allegorical look into what the song can be interpreted as meaning. People are so ****ing shallow they only notice the surface of things, ie the whole scandal around "Judas"/ it's video, and the Swine performance at SXSW. Art, especially the work of Gaga, isn't to be taken by face value, and if you're interpreting it only at its most shallow of levels, you're missing the picture completely. You're simply out of your depth, find something more suitable to your level of intelligence to dissect.

How do you know his opinion is a flop if you didn't watch the video? :S

Everyone keeps saying he matters because he has 600k subscribers...but his vid only had 50 k views lol. He can't even cross 100 000. He is not a threat at all and his deliberate picking away of Gaga's work is just him being a jerk. You can criticize anything, find fault in everything if you want to and Gaga does not deserve that she is a very good person who tries to make the world a better place, unlike what this irrelevant no-name youtuber does.

Battle 4 Ur Life

clickbait and misleading title. John Wayne remains unbothered by this white trash hick comments.

I didn't watch the video, but I think the criticism is valid to some extent. I mean, at the dive bar, Gaga said "I wrote this song about a really great man." John Wayne wasn't a really great man, and I don't think he should be glorified as such. However, the song is just about wanting a wild man, and shouldn't be taken that seriously.

I just want to say I agree with all of you, This is when overanalysis goes wrong.

Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.

Baby,I don't care about the impact of the video..It's not what makes an opinion important for me..,My point was that you can't call an opinion "irrelevant' without even listening to it,just because it's against Gaga. I do think that most of the things that the guy said are far-fetched
