As I said, we need to acknoledge that most terrorists are muslims, but also that the majority of muslims are no terrorists

Edit: I need to correct myself. It's not important that they ARE muslims, but that they seem to be MOTIVATED by Islam. If they are motivated by something else and just happen to be muslims, then that doesn't matter of course. But the majority seems to be motivated by a perverted view of Islam

I'm not sure where you live, but the majority of terrorists here in the U.S. are white and home grown. Hell, toddlers with guns kill more people than "Islamic terrorism" here.

This is correct. The majority of terrorism is conducted by Muslims, and the majority of school shootings are conducted by white males. Ignoring this helps no one.

Uhm what? Toddlers with guns aren't terrorists. And I never said that terrorism is a very likely way of dying. I also edited my post, because I realised I made a mistake. And I'm from Germany (since you asked). Of course many are home grown, but were you are born has nothing to do with your religion.

If you think ISIS or any other group is actually fighting to spread the Muslim faith, you're wrong  they're just murderous, greedy punks. When the chips are down, they steal from each other to get whatever they can. They're just another group hungry for power, influence, money, and whatever else acting like barbarians will get them.

Statements like "most terrorists are Muslims" are exactly what they use as ammunition to alienate and indoctrinate others into doing their work for them. And even if that statement were true (it's not), it'd still be irrelevant. Most Nazis were German, most KKK members are American, but that doesn't mean you can paint all Germans or Americans as bigots (or even imply that you can). The same rule applies here. It's just a pointless thing to say. There's nothing to achieve by saying it other than putting a target on Muslim people.

Terrorists are terrorists. Whether they're Christian, Muslim, white, Arab, or anything else it doesn't matter nor are those details relevant at all.

That still doesn't make it ok to say "most terrorists are Muslim"  There's not even a point to saying that unless you're trying to get others to profile Muslims. That's all I'm saying.

Depends what people consider terrorism. White Canadian Trump fan killing people at mosque was terrorist by definition, however he was described as "lone wolf" by the media and he didn't get terrorism charges. Same goes for murderer of Jo Cox in Britain. Did you forget about Norvegian terrorist Breivik?

What about the white supremacist who killed a black man in NYC, media focused on his suit and how handsome he looked. He will face terrorism charges, but in the eyes of the general population he won't be memorized as terrorist, because white person cannot possibly be a terrorist. Also no one will generalize and oppress white people after some of them commit such horrible crimes.
