Say what you want about America and their pointless, drawn-out, failed wars...

But at least they're consistent!

This ****ing moron. They make the same mistakes over and over again.

The people all sitting here and supporting this, disgusting. All the civilians that will die because of the war that this will start ?

Funnily it's the same people who are against refugees and will sit here and pretend that they care.

Even Hillary supported this.

I don't know how I feel. War is wrong, violence is not the answer, etc. etc. But I also don't have sympathy for Syria's airbase because what they did was ****ed up.

HOWEVER.

It also all seems sketchy. Something about it doesn't make sense and doesn't add up.
I also am not well-versed in this topic, so I'm not going to pretend my gut feeling is more valid than the information, knowledge, and research of people who have actively been paying attention.

They are correct. An attack by our armed forces on another government's armed forces is a declaration of war. Why didn't Trump get the approval of Congress?

How can you learn the basic lessons of Iraq, when you never even finished your course in Vietnam :trollga:

I cannot accept another war in the middle east. But, that as it may be, the chemical attacks were completely and absurdly unacceptable, and this strike was necessary to send a message. However, we will see the consequences of this strike for years to come. We are not the same under Trump. We are weak on the world stage, and I fear that other countries will see that as an opportunity to test our strength.

War is good for nothing.

The same man who criticised Obama for doing the same? What a clown.

As long as they have no boots on the ground and don't start a full-on war..

I think for once this action is good. Many foreign leaders are testing Trump to see how far they can go, and now there's a clear limit. Also shows Trump is not afraid to oppose Russia. Hopefully this makes foreign enemies (like North Korea) less hostile.

So tired of this bipartisan, war-mongering neoliberalism...:icega:

Peace to you all.
