She let's her feelings guide her in this tough industry which made her feel depressed, angry, and betrayed in a lot of times. I hope she change that tbh She's just human. SEANGT 5,296
I didn't know she lived with her grandma in Virginia for three months. That's cool. I hate this TED talk style format so much though. He just goes on about how digital media platforms made gaga. He doesn't give her any agency in this story. He basically says she was licking her wounds until he came along and embraced digital media. Bye Troy.

junolxf 8,654
Some fans love Troy Carter and RedOne more than they love Gaga. lol Stan for them then. jfshf "Seems to be trendy lately to talk sh*t about 'Lady Gaga' when your albums/singles drop." - Leviticus 20:

Better to be the little well behaved money making pop machine to feed the corporate coffers and placate fans who put all their stars in little boxes. i guess it is her career after all
Leeo 2,366
I think it's funny how people talk like it's bobby's fault that Gaga doesn't do much as she could as a "Popstar". She could be on top, she could have a #1 song from now and beyond... but GAGA herself is NOT interested and that's a fact and it's her choice. She's always runnin' from the easiest way and she's just not interested...period. Bobby won't force her and that's it. She could even go back to Troy Carter, the best thing that would happen in this collab is that she would probably get her songs on Spotify playlists for free...lol
M I M I Z 946
I really don't understand the personal attacks just for having a different opinion. You guys needs to be more open towards different opinions and actually encourage it cause that what makes this site interesting.

If you only DARE to talk positively about one of her past collaborators, you're a "terrible person", "idiot" or you "need to reconsider your life". Don't pay attention to them. 3 minutes ago, Leeo said: I think it's funny how people talk like it's bobby's fault that Gaga doesn't do much as she could as a "Popstar". I've seen the Joanne interviews with "Country music to push more people into this new type" and also the way she promotes with big events only... but If she wanted to be a "sucessful" POPSTAR, she could just simple play the radios + spotify to play her song and that was it. No more work... now "Approval"... idk. I think she's always trying to bring something new into the table. Now it's her vision of "comon" person... I'll wait til the next one to be sure about what's going to happen

I'll wait til the next one to be sure about what's going to happen The thing is that she hasn't brought anything new to the table since BTW, I hope she knows that. ARTPOP was surfing on a dead trend while the whole album promotion was at its dullest form and Joanne is...well, it's Joanne. I personally believe she will never be happy because her concept of success is so difficult to reach that she probably never will have it (=she want praise but she absolutely wants to be seen as "the different girl", while making generic music). She used to be interesting through her performances, artistry and vision, now she's relying on her voice only, which is boring as ****. The thing is nobody here knows how it is to work with her so nobody is able to confirm whatever feeling they have towards her managers. It infuriates me to see so many members bashing Troy for whatever supposed reason while HE is one of the few people that made her a superstar in like what...a year ? Yes, he was working for his money but I'm pretty sure Bobby is doing the exact same thing. "I have been writing LG5 since I was 13"

He talks as if he "created" her, like she had no way of doing that on her own. And please, what's all this "we" talk? I don't recall him playing shows in clubs night after night or going from radio station to radio station to help get her name out. I don't remember him nearly passing out from heat exhaustion during the Monster Ball tour. I don't recall him breaking his hip doing the Born This Way Ball. I don't remember him offering her support as the media and world tore her down during ARTPOP. Ugh, he's so full of himself. He's the one who called all the clubs to book Gaga. He's the one who fought for having Gaga during radio interview. He's the one who got Gaga a great deal with Livenation for her tours. You think that everything happens in a wink don't you? Or that Gaga built herself all alone? Come on, stop being that naive. As a manager he did the best piece of work with Lady Gaga. With Gaga they reached such a high level of stardom in such a short amount of time. Ofc he'll be proud of himself, because he did a good job and that's a fact. Head Empty 25,190
Gaga literally explained that the lifestyle and schedule that was forced on her by her management was the main cause of her PTSD. Troye is at the root of a lot of issues that Gaga still has to deal with. I would in NO WAY call him a good manager OR businessman. Good managers try to make sure their clients are healthy, and in good conditions to deliver great work. Not only did he neglect to notice all of the mental and physical issues Gaga was going through - he also knowingly thrusted her into one of her most ambitious projects ever when she still had a lot of healing to do. And then he left her crashed and burned out. It's exactly like Gaga said. "It's one thing to put a train in the tracks". Troye did that brilliantly - with the "help" of Gaga's amazing work and creative content. But the real challenge is to keep the train maintained, fueled and in peak condition, and knowing when you need to slow down. And that's where Troye showed what kind of manager he really is. Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺
giskardsb 12,565
Gaga was on the same road as Amy. Overworked, unhappy, and doing things she didn't want. Some of you seem like you'd be ok with Gaga having the same end as long as a few more hits were delivered.
