She's learned a lot since her debut, and that's reflective of her music as well. You can't sit there and tell me that she hasn't changed, even a little bit, since The Fame. Also, when people say that she's "matured", they're also talking about the music. That's not to say that dance-pop/electronic pop is immature or anything, not at all, but the way she harkens back to classic sounds and makes more of an effort to really incorporate different genres that she genuinely enjoys makes it more 'mature'. TimisaMonster 31,073
To me the album has healed her reputation with the GP and people seem to respect her more and taker her seriously... From a business standpoint of the album...it's been a flop imo. Singles aren't doing well, nobody is watching the videos, she's done a lot of major performances, but overall it hasn't done much for the era She's focusing on filming, the tour, and has left the era to kinda support itself and it isn't doing that...welp Another era mismanaged and neglected... Born To Slay 10,996
It just passed 500k in the US alone, so it's done pretty well.
RochestrMonstr 3,229
How can a million-selling album in 2016/2017 be a flop? When it came out, people acted like it was was going to struggle to sell 100k. We've known for quite some time that Gaga isn't as commercially successful as she once was, but she's still doing just fine. Idk what to say to the people who want her to magically recreate her early popularity. She's been "flopping" since the second half of the BTW era from that standpoint.
