Pop 4,541
This is great. What pisses me off is how all the basic popstars take finished products like this and just attach their name to them. They are NOT artists. They are just brands. And people are falling for it. EVERYONE loves Rihanna while ragging on Gaga who WRITES all lyrics and melodies. It's not ****ing fair. Retep 0
You can be sure 'The Monster Part. 2' will be on her next album (like LTWYL Part.2) If this doesn't happen at least as a bonus track I'll be beyond surprised. This is way too good to just purge away. Wonder if she'll be the next Skylar Grey. That being said, if anyone has a DL i'd appreciate it. Sadly P&P didn't post one this time weirdly. RAMROD 105,474
so it's not actually HER song? she was just paid to sing that demo to see how it'd sound? then that's ok I think :P Co-Writer, Sir. The song writers: Marshall Mathers, Bryan Fryzel, Aaron Kleinstub, M. Smooth Criminal 2
The original demo for The Monster has been going around! The song was originally composed and sung by Bebe Rexha. https://soundcloud.com/pigeonsandplanes/bebe-rexha-monster-under-my What do you think? Personally I prefer this version MUCH more than the version with Rihanna and Eminem's rap. It flows nicely and the verses are pretty good, and obviously that chorus is catchy as hell, and the production during the chorus is way better than the studio version. This is Bebe: Go tweet her if you like her version @beberexha One person tweeted her and she really appreciated it and I'm sure we could all make her day if she were to hear how you feel! :) She's HOT af! And I like her version!
Essence 174
so it's not actually HER song? she was just paid to sing that demo to see how it'd sound? then that's ok I think :P nope. She wrote the song herself as one of her own works, they just bought the hook from her.
lastlinefirst 1
Well that's a letdown bc I really liked Eminem's version, but after hearing this one I like it better
display name 4,360
I don't particularly care for either of the versions, but, if I had to listen to one, then I would prefer to listen to this.
INNA 3,557
It's funny that they used her vocals in the background because Rihanna can't reach that falsetto Anyways, this version slays Eminem and Rih's fragment-fragment--bul-uh...scab-uh..fragment-foot, bullet fragment foot bich! Memo 176
nope. She wrote the song herself as one of her own works, they just bought the hook from her. Co-Writer, Sir. The song writers: Marshall Mathers, Bryan Fryzel, Aaron Kleinstub, M. Athanasiou, Robyn Fenty, Jon Bellion, Bebe Rexha oh, so it's more like if she writed the hook instead of them sampling them, that's ok then
Quark 7,085
Has Rihanna done anything iconic? I personally think that she hasn't done anything that will be or is iconic. Sure she has had many hits, and some people argue that Umbrella is iconic, but I simply think all of these things she has done are simply big commercial successes. For example, lets go back to the song Umbrella. The song was abviously a big hit, but did the song make any impact? Did this song change the music industry or influnce other artists?
