If they wanted to go to space, they'd have pursued a career in astronomy and aimed to enter the space age program, not become actors and singers. Sarah Brightman's going into space in 2015, but for her, it makes sense. She sang a song called I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper and she's actually going to be doing something - raising awareness about looking after the planet and promote female education in the science and technology fields, as part of her duty as a UNESCO amabassador.
