YeehawKylie 7,817
Jennifer Paige, who you may know from the 1998 hit single Crush, is back with her new synth-pop album Starflower. Fund for the album were raised through a kickstarter campaign and was independently recorded and produced by Paige herself. When you hear the quality of the finished product, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Paige says she was inspired by artists like Tove Lo, with her brooding synth-pop sound. The album was preceded by the single The Devil's in the Details, which Billboard ranked as one of its ten Great Pop Songs from February That You Might've Missed, saying 'the sinister, synth-creeping ballad "The Devil's in the Details" [...] suggests we should've give Paige a lot more than 15 minutes back in the day.' Entertainment Weekly previewed and reviewed the album yesterday. Read here. Listen Here on Spotify, or look it up on your preferred streaming app! Personal Highlights: The Devil's in the Details, Let Me Love You, Starflower, To The Madness, January. Enjoy! At the end she even has a re-worked, acoustic version of Crush. Her second and third album were more acoustic and just not as memorable...so this was a pleasant surprise.
