There is probably the assumed clause: "you're immunity is negligible if no one gets jailed and later evidence provides any idea that you're wrong" going on. This is actually a big possibility. If proven, they would try to impeach Donald Trump. They would do this because what he did was treason and completely illegal. I would certainly hope that fellow Republicans wouldn't want to be associated with the scandal. This means that he obviously has damning evidence or testimonial information of the Trump admin. He won't get immunity if he hides or covers up information or commits perjury. Trump was gotten away with so much **** these past few months (this past week...) and nothing has come of it. If Flynn interviews and spills legitimate tea that'll destroy the Trump admin, then cool. But I'm not here for him saying something that revolves around someone else in the admin that might have had something to do with Russia. There needs to be explicit evidence this time around imo.
