Lana Del Rey has an upcoming collaboration featuring The Weeknd on her new album which is called 'Lust For Life' the track will be the second single, they both have loyal fan bases & they're both streaming artists, do you think that with a proper promotion, and with a music video, Lana will finally get her top 10, 5, or even #1?

Let's take a look on their previous collaborations.

The Weeknd ft Lana Del Rey "Prisoner" - 64M streams on Spotify (Debuted at #47 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 51,291 copies sold in its first week) - No promotion, No TV Performances.

The Weeknd ft Lana Del Rey "Stargirl" (Interlude) - 36M streams on Spotify ("Stargirl Interlude" debuted at No. 96 on the US iTunes songs chart, and at No. 70 on the Brazil iTunes songs chart upon release. It also peaked at No. 61 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart on December 17, 2016.)

Is the world ready for Lana to dominate the Pop charts? Is her mainstream breakthrough upon us?

It depends on the song itself and the promotion. Sometimes a good song/album doesn't get noticed because of the lack of promotion, and sometimes a stupid song becomes a hit because it's promoted everywhere. It depends.

I think you don't really understands Lana, she doesn't want to be a mainstream artist.. she doesn't care about her chart positions or anything.. she's making music because she loves it..

But anyway, it might be a successful single thanks to The Weekend.. he's very strong right now.. but they did this song for fun and not for boosting her career..

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

She may not be interested at getting hits but ''Summertime Sadness'' and Born To Die was what made her known and able to tour. Every artist needs some sort of success.

She really deserves it but her music is so different to whats on the radio, who knows. But I hope she gets a lot of success.

Lana doesn't care for #1 singles at all and I don't think that she would try to get 1, cause that's not her.

I don't care, I genuinely just want her work.

Spoiler

Actually I kinda hope not, I don't want her to be too mainstream :emma: but I would be happy for her
