Actually, that's what British tried to do. All the surrounding Arab countries rejected the plan and declared war. For like 10 years all they do is to bitch about that there is "no partner" but never sat down and talked and negotiated and found a solution. But instead they did the best to increase the hate and made many citizens extremists that at this point of today, it's going to take a long time to heal this wound. As Israeli, I don't know what to do anymore, I kinda gave up on trying to make a change.. they won I guess..
