Congress/the WH was under lockdown too just to be safe

Scottish Parliament was also disbanded for the day, postponing the debate on a second independence referendum.

The Prime Minister was in the Palace of Westminster (in the division lobby) at the time, but was escorted to her car by security and was quickly driven away.

Can't imagine what it must feel like to be the PM in that situation

Looks like the attacker was only disabled (shot in the leg) so hopefully we can get a full story and lock the c*nt up.

From images, it seems he isn't white so I doubt it's IRA / McGuinness related.

Police have stressed everyone to be vigilant, armed officers deployed around London.

They are looking for more attackers since they are unsure if it is a lone wolf or not.

He says there are a number of casualties but he cannot confirm the number or the nature of injuries.

Met commander BJ Harrington is making a statement. He says although he is "open-minded" to the motives, it is being treated as a terrorist incident.

Two people dead, one man arrested and I think in hospital, the attacker was seen on a stretcher getting into an ambulance. They aren't sure if he was alone or with anyone else. Shows that terrorist attacks arent always bombs and guns and we should be careful

Bomb squad have been summoned as well as specialist fire arms, seems like they're preparing for something else to potentially happen.

Sorry can you please post the source? I'd like to read it, if you can find it

Do they meant they expect something else or they simply think it could happen?

Makes you wonder if that was the point in light of the electronic ban.

Pretty frightening, i'm going to remain open minded and hope it's not.
