Personally oppose Scottish independence/most separatist movements but good luck to them if its the path they choose!

Isn't it economically better for them to stay with the U.K.?

The argument is that, if independent, Scotland has a stronger direct control over its economy (oppossed to working through Westminster). On the same note, its not like the rest of the UK would just cut off all ties to an independent Scotland.

You'd have to leave and rejoin anyway. The EU has said so much itself and it'll be hard for an independent Scotland to fulfil the joining criteria so quickly anyway. The best chance (IMO) would be to just wait for the old people who voted Brexit to die then rejoin.

Either way, you'd still lose your opt-outs, be obliged to adopt the Euro (etc) which in any reality would be a bad move.

I was expecting another referendum to stop the Brexit not this sh't.

The likelihood is that there will be a referendum on the final Brexit deal anyway (despite what the UK PM says).

Id rather go through all that and have our country actually have a say on what we do though.
Also im really against trident so the faster we get that outta Scotland the better imo tbh.
Scotland might stumble and the years ahead would be tough, but its better than the current situation imo.

Most E.U nations have said that they would welcome and independent Scotland. I hope we vote yes this time.

I dont want to live in a country that gets dictated by Westminster, dragged out of the E.U against our will (62% of Scots voted to remain in the E.U) and be under Tory rule. Theresa May is evil and to have her tell Scotland what to do (even though we did not vote for her) is absurd. We HAVE to break away from the rest of the UK if we want to be apart of the E.U.

Also, we would get rid of Trident - which the government renewed

We would not have to adopt the euro. Britain didnt so why should we?

We are definately better off alone.

Its time, my friend. We HAVE to stand up for ourselves and vote yes.

Because the UK (and a few other countries) have an opt-out as they were in the EC before the EU was formed. New Member States don't get that option.

Negotiation. Nicola will negotiate our terms with the E.U. Both the £ and the Euro have dropped in value so both currencies arent that strong.
