POP2 4,206
Check it out: 17:50 I honestly have to agree with him; this song is close to a masterpiece. You can feel her pain and really relate to it. Green Light is an awesome bop but Liability is an emotional piano ballad that seemed completely out of Lorde's realm. I'm the first to admit that it takes awhile to fall in love with, however, it really could be one of her best. Check out what he has to say about it... Do you agree? ItWasntLaauv 6,392
How the hell is Liability a "love song" though?? It's literally one of the saddest songs I've ever heard. It also doesn't JUST relate to romantic relationships, it could just as well be about any regular friendships or social insecurity.

Doesn't it have a lyric explicitly saying go into some other girl's arms or something Edit: Read the comments further down as they clarify things more accurately. But music is always open to interpretation so that doesn't necessarily mean your feeling of the song or his is any less valid
Swan Heart 7,382
I relate to the song so much, it truly touched me. They say it's the last song. They don't know us, you see. It's only the last song if we let it be.

The issue is that she knows a girl who always want more more more. Then she says that her romantic interest believes that girl and Lorde are the same person (which they are).
